Paula Pasche, a veteran sports writer, covers the Lions for The Oakland Press. She has written a book, "100 Things Lions Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die" which is available at bookstores and on Amazon.com. She won first place for column writing from the Society of Professional Journalists in Detroit (Class B) in 2011, 2012 and 2013 and was The Oakland Press 2010 Staffer of the Year.

It doesn't even matter. The Lions will be what they always are. Just good enough to keep the suckers coming back, but nowhere near championship caliber. Not in 2016 or any year in the foreseeable future. For all his so-called pedigree, Bob Quinn is no more than another Matt Millen waiting to happen. They'll go somewhere between 9-7 and 7-9. What's one more year piled on to the last sixty of futility?
