Check out transcript of Detroit Lions chat
We talked about so many topics including Calvin Johnson, draft picks, free agents, the salary cap and there was a reappearance of a mention on Ndamukong Suh who has a $28.6 million hit on the Dolphins salary cap for 2016. (Still miss him?)

Anyone thinking Calvin Johnson doesn't belong in the HOF should look at the Career of Gale Sayers. Fantastic player, short career due to injuries and played for the Bears during his career that wasn't a very good team. Sounds a lot like Calvin Johnson. Gales Sayers was elected to the HOF on his first ballot. Your thoughts?
My thought is Sayers, like Roberto Clemente, got first ballot induction due to tragedy. One's knee got blown out and the other lost his life in an airplane crash. Right now, Calvin Johnson is a borderline case. Some good stats that are trumpeted, but some not so good variables in his resume as well that are rarely mentioned. If he walks, likely leaving a few good years on the table, ala Barry Sanders, it's hard to say what the Hall voters will think of him five years hence. Everybody in every stadium would show up to see Barry. He was electric with his magical running abilities. Calvin is just a tall guy that has out-jumped a lot of DBs over the years to haul in a pass thrown in his general direction by Matthew Stafford. If he calls it quits now, I'd say his chances are maybe 50-50 in five years. Besides, he played for the Lions. Locally, they remain heroes. Nationally they remain Rodney Dangerfieldish. Nuff said.
Paula and Larry sittin in a tree............
Doing N-0-T-H-I-N-G. That would sort of be like Anderson Cooper and Rachel Maddow sharing a love nest. Awkward, to say the least. And please -- no videos. LMAO.
