ALLEN PARK — Quick hits from early availability today with Detroit Lions:
— Corey Hilliard said he will have surgery on his Lisfranc injury on his right foot next week. He’s been placed on injured reserve ending his season. He was injured in the third quarter and finished the game in tremendous pain.
— Offensive lineman Garrett Reynolds, who spent training camp with the Lions before getting cut, got the call on Tuesday morning to return.
— It’s uncertain of LaAdrian Waddle, who left Monday’s game early with a cal strain, will be able to play on Sunday.
— Rookie tackle Cornelius Lucas said coaches and players have one message for him today: “Be ready.”
— No move has been made yet to sign another defensive back with Bill Bentley out for the season. Four corners remain on the roster. Coach Jim Caldwell said there’s a possibility someone could be signed.
— Caldwell wouldn’t rule out signing veteran cornerback Champ Bailey who worked out for the Lions on Thursday.
