ALLEN PARK — Defensive end Ezekiel Ansah (ankle), Bill Bentley (knee) and Montell Owens (knee) did not practice today (Wednesday).
Owens aggravated his knee injury that kept him out of the first eight games in Sunday’s win at Chicago.
Ansah and Bentley have not practiced since sustaining their injuries in the win over the Cowboys.
Calvin Johnson and Louis Delmas also did not practice. It’s a likely rest day for both. Johnson didn’t practice last Wednesday and was back Thursday and Friday. Delmas usually only practices on Thursdays to save his knee for Sundays.
Tackle Corey Hilliard, who injured his knee in the Cincinnati game on Oct. 20, returned to practice for the first time since then.
The Lions (6-3) are preparing to play the Steelers (3-6) on Sunday at Pittsburgh. Each team has won three of its last five games.
