Titus Young eased back into practice; Backus back at full speed
ALLEN PARK — WR Titus Young and LT Jeff Backus were back at Lions practice for the second straight day.
Backus, who had been out with a torn chest muscle, was full-go with no signs of missing the first three weeks of camp.
Young, who was out with a hamstring, is being gradually brought back. He did more Monday than Sunday, but isn’t close to being unrestricted. He was out of Monday’s practice prior to team drills and had a trainer rewrap his leg. He stood out and watched until the end of practice.
Kyle Vanden Bosch missed his second day of practice, but said it was simply for rest.
