Detroit Lions: Calvin Johnson, Chris Houston return to practice

ALLEN PARK — It was a good sign for the Lions when Chris Houston (hamstring), Calvin Johnson (knee) and Ashlee Palmer (ankle) returned to practice today (Friday).

It was the first practice this week for Houston who was injured in the fourth quarter on Sunday and Johnson.

Palmer had been out on Wednesday.

It’s unsure if those three had full or limited practice. Only the early portion is open to the media.

Safety Louis Delmas was out for a rest day. For the third week he was out Wednesday, practiced Thursday and sat out Friday.

The Lions (3-1) play the Packers (1-2) at Lambeau Field at 1 p.m. Sunday. It will air on FOX With Kenny Albert and Daryl Johnston calling the game.
