ALLEN PARK — Calvin Johnson missed his second straight day of practice with a knee injury today (Thursday). It’s not unusual for the Detroit Lions wide receiver to take an occasional day off from practice, but often he still is on the field with his teammates. There was no sign of him in the early portion of practice open to the media.
Safety Glover Quin, who was out Wednesday with a hamstring, returned. He could have been limited. He said on Wednesday he expects to play Sunday at Green Bay.
Linebacker Ashlee Palmer, who has missed an occasional practice with an ankle injury the past few weeks, was out on Thursday after full practice on Wednesday.
Safety Louis Delmas, who rarely practices with a chronic knee issue, was back at work after sitting out Wednesday.
Wide receiver Kevin Ogletree, who was signed on Wednesday after being cut by the Bucs on Tuesday, practiced. He wears No. 11.
