Lions re-sign Heller, cut Dewayne White

Tight end Will Heller, an unrestricted free agent, signed a three-year deal with the Lions today. Last season, his first with the Lions, he had 29 receptions for 296 yards and three touchdowns.

Also the Lions signed free agent wide receiver Brian Clark who played with Tampa Bay last season where he had six receptions for 65 yards in 14 games.

The Lions also released defensive end Dewayne White who played in 10 games last year, starting five of them. He finished with eight tackles, one interception and zero sacks.
