Lions reportedly to sign Vanden Bosch, Burleson

ALLEN PARK — Nothing official yet from the Lions, but reports are that defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch and wide receiver Nate Burleson could sign with Detroit as soon as today.

Vanden Bosch, a nine-year veteran, would be reunited with coach Jim Schwartz who was Vanden Bosch’s defensive coordinator with the Tennessee Titans.

Burleson has agreed to a five-year deal with the Lions according to ESPN. He caught 63 passes for 812 yards and three touchdowns for Seattle last season. The Lions are looking for a receiver to help take the pressure off Calvin Johnson.
