LB Vinny Ciurciu, an unrestricted free agent, re-upped with the Lions on Friday. Ciurciu played in nine games for the Lions last year, mostly on special teams.
DT Grady Jackson, a 13-year NFL veteran, was released on Friday. He started in 13 of the 15 games he played for the Lions in 2009.
