The Lions finally announced the completion of their coaching staff Wednesday. As previously reported, Stan Kwan (special teams), Sam Gash (running backs) and Shawn Jefferson (receivers) will return from last year's staff, as will assistant special teams coach Brad Banta, defensive quality control assistant Don Clemons and strength coaches Jason Arapoff and Malcolm Blacken.

The new coaches include Bob Karmelowicz (defensive line), Kris Kocurek (assistant defensive line), Matt Burke (linebackers), Tim Walton (secondary), Daron Roberts (assistant secondary), Tim Lappano (tight ends), George Yarno (offensive line), Jeff Horton (quarterbacks) and Todd Downing (offensive quality control).
