Calvin Johnson is officially listed as doubtful on the Detroit Lions injury report for Sunday’s game at the Minnesota Vikings. That’s a downgrade from the past two weeks when he was questionable and played in both games.
Before practice on Friday, coach Jim Caldwell said he had made a decision on Johnson but wouldn’t make it public. Also, he said he didn’t expect Johnson to play two weeks ago and he did.
Johnson suffered an ankle sprain on Sept. 21 and played in the next two games in a limited capacity. He re-injured the ankle last Sunday in the loss to the Bills.
Also, Reggie Bush is listed as questionable for Sunday. He injured his ankle on Sunday and has not practiced this week.
Tight end Joe Fauria (ankle) and linebacker Travis Lewis (quad) are both out.
