Delmas, Houston, Lacey return to Lions practice; Fairley, Pettigrew still out

ALLEN PARK — Three of the Detroit Lions starters who didn’t practice on Wednesday, were back on the practice field today (Thursday).

Louis Delmas (knee), Chris Houston (hamstring) and Jacob Lacey (foot/Achilles) were back, although likely on a limited basis.

Defensive tackle Nick Fairley (shoulder) and Brandon Pettigrew (ankle) did not practice for the second straight day.

Fairley seemed optimistic on Wednesday that he will be ready to go for Sunday at the Arizona Cardinals.

Pettigrew was wearing an orthopedic boot.

Coach Jim Schwartz said on Wednesday that both of them were day to day.
