Delmas, Houston, 4 others missing from Lions practice

ALLEN PARK — A half-dozen Lions were missing from the outdoor practice today (Wednesday).

Free safety Louis Delmas (knee) did not practice and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he didn’t practice all week and still played on Sunday at Green Bay.

Cornerback Chris Houston, who finished Sunday’s game but was limping toward the end, was out along with cornerback Jacob Lacey (foot/knee).

Defensive tackle Corey Williams (knee), who also played on Sunday, did not practice.

Also missing were RT Gosder Cherilus and defensive end Lawrence Jackson.

Defensive end Cliff Avril, who has lingering back issues, was on the field but appeared to be limited.

Wide receivers Kris Durham (No. 18), who was promoted from practice squad, and Lance Long (No. 86), who was just signed, practiced.

Also on board was newly signed safety Tyrell Johnson, who replaced Erik Coleman (released) and is wearing his No. 24.

Where'd Cherilus and Jackson get off to? I hadn't heard they were injured.
