Louis Delmas, as expected, will play today at the Philadelphia Eagles. It’s his first game of the season and he will provide a boost to the secondary. He will start alongside Amari Spievey who gets the nod instead of Erik Coleman.
Another change in the secondary has Jacob Lacey starting at cornerback in place of rookie Bill Bentley.
At defensive tackle Nick Fairley will start in place of Corey Williams who is out while rehabbing after knee surgery. It’s Fairley’s first start. Sammie Hill is active but has been slowed down by an injured toe during practice last week.
Others on the inactive list include: QB Kellen Moore, OT Jason Fox, OT Corey Hilliard, LB Tahir Whitehead, RB Kevin Smith and S Ricardo Silva.
