Reports conflict on Lions' dealings with Pacman
Conflicting reports are out there on whether Adam “Pacman” Jones has agreed to a deal with the Detroit Lions.
ProFootballTalk.com reports that, according to sources, Jones has agreed to terms with the Lions and the signing will be announced Tuesday.
Other reports differ, saying the Lions have not agreed to a deal.
Jones played for Lions coach Jim Schwartz while with the Tennessee Titans when Schwartz was defensive coordinator there. The 26-year-old cornerback/returner has not played in the NFL since the 2008 season when he was with the Cowboys. His off-the-field issues have seriously damaged a once-promising career.
The Lions this week said they definitely have an interest in Jones and that he has a “skill set” that would help the team.
