Lions sign Terrelle Smith, Ronald Curry
The Lions added two more free agents Thursday, signing fullback Terrelle Smith and receiver Ronald Curry to one-year deals.
Smith was one of the best blocking backs on the market and spent the last two seasons in Arizona. He should play in front of Jerome Felton, a rookie last year.
Curry, who played last season with Oakland, is another in a collection of third receivers the Lions have been accumulating since the end of last season. He had just 19 catches for 181 yards last year.
Update: Changed the title so no one gets too excited about what Curry the Lions signed.
Labels: Detroit Lions, Jerome Felton, Ronald Curry, Terrelle Smith

Had me leaping out of my skin for joy when I saw "The Lions sign Curry" . . .you had to know you were doing that. grrrr
Haha...nice title Dave. My heart almost exploded.
Totally forgot about that other Curry until now. I'll change the title.
Interesting to read and hear some of the comments Matt Stafford made today in his promotional appearances on ESPN. First, he had a print blue tie on that looked decidedly Lions-esque to me on First Take. Second, read this chat transcript. When he answers questions about the Lions he talks likes a man who has a pretty good idea where he'll be drafted.

^florio did the same thing on PFT, but the difference was he knew he was doing it.

Hilarious... sign smith and curry!
