One thing you can count on with the Detroit Lions is that they are never, ever boring. Follow the latest news including injuries, roster moves and more here daily from Oakland Press beat writer Paula Pasche. Plus you'll find regular commentary about the team.

Former Lions WR Nate Burleson to visit Dolphins

Nate Burleson has been keeping busy since he was released by the Lions, but it’s been television work.

The wide receiver is visiting the Miami Dolphins according to Steve Wyche of the NFL Network.

If he signs he would be the third former Lion making the trek to Miami. Louis Delmas and Jason Fox have signed with the Dolphins.

Burleson, 32, missed 17 games the past two seasons due to injury. He came back last season after breaking his forearm. In 2012 he broke his leg.

Dolphins current receivers include Brandon Gibson, Brian Hartline, Richard Matthews and Mike Wallace.
