So if you want Cold Stone Creamery to offer to provide wedding dessert and the cake, tweet out an engagement photo while eating ice cream in one of their stores.
Well, maybe it would help to be an NFL quarterback.
News of the engagement of Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford and Kelly Hall broke Monday when she tweeted out a photo of them eating Cold Stone ice cream, flashing her engagement ring.
It did not go unnoticed.
"We'd love to provide dessert for everyone at the wedding. And to the extent that they would allow us, we would love to make the cake as well,’’ Cold Stone executive Michael Serruya told TMZ Sports.
While the average wedding in the United States now costs $30,000, Stafford signed a five-year $76.5 million contract last July.
It was unclear if the proposal happened at the ice cream shop. It wouldn’t have been the first time.
"It happens all the time,’’ Serruya told TMZ.
