DETROIT — Wide receiver Titus Young is inactive for today’s game against the Colts. Young practiced for three days this week after being sent home on Nov. 19. It’s his second straight inactive game.
Jeff Backus will start at left tackle today against the Colts. Backus did not play in the Thanksgiving game which broke his string of 186 straight starts.
Louis Delmas will start at free safety, with Ricardo Silva at strong safety.
Delmas played on Thanksgiving, but didn’t make it through the whole game due to swelling in this knee. He didn’t practice on Friday after limited practices on Wednesday and Thursday.
Corey Williams, who had knee surgery on Sept. 25, missed the last three games. He did not practice on Friday but is active on Sunday.
However, Nick Fairley will get the start at defensive tackle.
Other Lions inactives: Jonte Green, Jason Fox, Corey Hilliard, Brian Robiskie, Ronnell Lewis and Kellen Moore.
Inactives for the Colts: Nathan Palmer, Tom Zbikowski, Robert Hughes, Dominique Jones, Bradley Sowell, Tony Hills and Kellen Heard.
