It may be the off-season for the Lions, but that doesn't mean there isn't something to discuss especially coming off a 10-6 season. Check here for commentary and updates on roster moves, free agency and, yes, the draft.

Rams present golden opportunity for a Lions' win

While the St. Louis Rams haven’t won on the road, the Detroit Lions, as we know, haven’t won anywhere.

Sunday is a golden opportunity and they should grab it. Detroit played three of its first four on the road and will be on the road next Sunday at the New York Giants before their bye week.

This team seems to have the right attitude for an 0-4 team, if there is such a thing. But to go into next week 0-5 would test the strongest of souls.

The Lions are missing two key players in Matthew Stafford and DeAndre Levy, but Nate Burleson will be back and Jahvid Best will be in. Best had his best day so far at the Ford Field against the Eagles, he needs to match that on Sunday.

The Lions can win this game but it won’t be easy. The Rams will be playing just their second road game. Can rookie QB Sam Bradford be rattled? We’ll see.

The Lions are 3-point favorites and they’ll be playing at a sold-out Ford Field. Prediction: Lions 27, Rams 21.
