Stafford, Levy don't practice; Burleson does
ALLEN PARK -- While injuries have been costly so far this season, at practice today (Wednesday) many of those who have missed time were back on the practice field.
That did not include QB Matthew Stafford (shoulder) who was on practice field but not participating.
Among those practicing were WR Nate Burleson (ankle), RB Aaron Brown (hand) and DT Sammie Hill (leg) who did not play on Sunday at Green Bay.
Also S Louis Delmas (groin) practiced which is unusual. He has been taking Wednesdays off and practicing Thursday and Friday to prepare for games.
RB Jahvid Best, who has been hampered with a toe injury yet still has played every game, was also at practice.
Those sitting out were linebacker DeAndre Levy (groin), safety C.C. Brown and tight end Tony Scheffler.
Also the Lions picked up T Jamon Meredith who had been released by Buffalo. On Tuesday they released G Manny Ramirez.
