Safety James Ihedigbo, who missed the first weeks of the Detroit Lions voluntary offseason workouts, has returned for the start of organized team activities today (Tuesday) according to the team website.
Ihedigbo had been working out on his own instead of with the team due to salary issues. He signed a two-year $3.15 million contract a year ago. He is scheduled to make $1.1 million with a $500,000 roster bonus this year.
Ihedigbo started 13 games in 2014 with 71 tackles, four interceptions, two sacks, three forced fumbles and eight passes defended.
The Lions have three of their 10 OTAs this week. OTAs are voluntary. Mandatory minicamp runs June 16-18.

What good are contracts if players don't honor them?
You are right but teams doesn´t honor contracts either. It goes both ways.
You get a job with a starting pay and after a year do you expect to get a raise depending on your actions on the field do you get a raise or do you sit back and not get a raise because you signed a contract.we sit here and analyze these players and when they don't produce we want them fired or let go.
