It's almost that time. The Detroit Lions have announced the training camp schedule for sessions that will be open to the public.
— Friday, Aug. 1, 3:30 p.m.
— Saturday, Aug. 2, 10:30 a.m.
— Monday, Aug. 4, 8:30 a.m.
— Tuesday, Aug. 5, 3:30 p.m.
— Wednesday, Aug. 6, 7:30 p.m. at Ford Field
— Thursday, Aug. 7, 2 p.m.
— Monday, Aug. 11, 3:30 p.m.
— Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2 p.m.
Unless noted, sessions are at the Lions headquarters and practice facility at 222 Republic Drive, Allen Park. Gates open 30 minutes prior to each session.
Season ticket holders, suite holders and club seat members will have access on July 28 (the first day of camp) and July 29.
In case of inclement weather, the practices will be moved inside and fans won’t be allowed to watch. Visit DetroitLions.com for weather updates.
Admission is free with room available for about 1,500 on first-come, first-serve basis.
