It wasn’t a blg splash, but the Detroit Lions made a move at the start of free agency at 4 p.m. They signed wide receiver Kevin Ogletree to a one-year deal per ProFootballTalk.com.
Ogletree played in a dozen games for the Lions in 2013 with 13 catches for 199 yards and a touchdown. With injuries decimating the wide receivers late in the season, Ogletree got more opportunities and stepped up.
Reports say that the Lions have an interest in Golden Tate (Seahawks) and Emmanuel Sanders (Steelers).
Also, the NFL draft is extremely deep at the wide receiver position. There's a chance the Lions could try to move up to draft Sammy Watkins (Clemson) or select Mike Evans (Texas A&M) with the 10th overall pick.
