ALLEN PARK — Detroit Lions’ left tackle Jason Fox, defensive tackle NIck Fairley and safety Don Carey did not practice today (Thursday). The three were listed as out on Wednesday’s practice report even though Fairley had gone through at least some of the defensive line drills.

Also linebacker Ashlee Palmer was out after a full practice on Wednesday.

The Lions (1-0) are preparing to play the Cardinals at Arizona at 4 p.m. 

If Fox isn’t ready Sunday expect Corey Hilliard to get the start. If Fairley is out, C.J. Mosley will like start Sunday. 

The game will be televised on Fox with Sam Rosen and Heath Evans calling the action.
