Ford Field gets a Monday night game -- Giants vs. Vikings
DETROIT -- Ford Field finally gets a Monday night game, but it has nothing to do with the Lions.
According to sources, Ford Field has been chosen to host the N.Y. Giants vs. Minnesota Vikings game on Monday night. Kickoff is 7:20 p.m.
The game was forced to be moved after snow collapsed the roof of the Metrodome. The NFL looked at other locations including Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Stay tuned for more details, including the ticket situation. Could be some good deals involved, haven't heard anything official on that yet.
The Lions are preparing to kick off against the Green Bay Packers.
