Reports: Ford Field 'likely' to host Giants-Vikings on Monday night
Rich Eisen is reporting that the Giants-Vikings game will "likely" be played at Ford Field on Monday night. The game, which was set for today at Minneapolis' Metrodome, had to be moved because the roof collapsed under the weight of snow.
NFL Network is also reporting that Ford Field will be the likely new location and the game would be played a 7:20 p.m. on Monday
Lions' vice president Bill Keenist released this statement: "We understand the league is considering all its options. We have let the league know that we are willing to help in any way."
Big question is how would they get fans into Ford Field. They wouldn't play in front of empty seats.
Will keep you updated.
