Ins and outs at practice

ALLEN PARK — Linebacker Zack Follett, who plays mostly special teams, did not practice today due to a neck injury. He did practice on Wednesday.

Also missing practice were linebacker Ernie Sims (hamstring), guard Stephen Peterman (ankle), safety Kalvin Pearson (hamstring) and defensive end Dewayne White (toe). All four also missed Wednesday’s practice.

Sims, who missed Sunday’s game at Minnesota, and Peterman, who was injured in Sunday’s game, are not expected to play on Sunday.

Defensive tackle Grady Jackson (knee) didn’t practice on Thursday. It’s not uncommon for him to miss a practice or two during the week and still play on Sunday.

Wide receiver Derrick Williams, who did not practice on Wednesday, was able to practice in a limited fashion today.
