Another DB out for season
ALLEN PARK Of all the Lions injuries in Sundays 27-10 loss at Minnesota, so far the only one of significance is to cornerback Jack Williams. He suffered a season-ending knee injury on the second play of the second half. Coach Jim Schwartz said they will fill his roster spot immediately. Williams was the seventh defensive back the Lions had signed since Sept. 4. Three defensive backs have already landed on the Injured Reserve list so far this season Daniel Bullocks, DeMarcus Faggins and Eric King.
Other injured players including starting right guard Stephen Peterman were undergoing tests today, so there could be more injury news in upcoming days.
Safety Louis Delmas, who missed the game due to an infected tooth, is getting treatment. Its not expected to be a long-term deal.
The Lions are preparing to play Cleveland on Sunday at Ford Field.
