A TMZ report on Friday said a former member of the Detroit Lions was a suspected hit man in a kill-for-hire scheme in Hollywood.
It was much ado about nothing as far as the former Lions’ player is concerned.
It was allegedly guard Chris Geile, according to several reports, who was on the roster for three games in October 1987 during the NFL strike. Boxscores from those games showed he started one game at right guard, substituted in another and was inactive for a third.
Hardly a big deal former Lion.
The story, though, is totally strange. Per TMZ, celebrity skin specialist Dawn DaLuise was arrested on Wednesday for trying to hire someone to kill a skin-care competitor. The murder never happened because police were alerted and stepped in.
OK, now back to free agency, the draft speculation and the hiring of an agent by Ndamukong Suh.
