ALLEN PARK — While the Lions’ secondary has been playing better, an NFL team can never have enough healthy defensive backs.

The Lions are hosting free agent cornerback Stanford Routt today according to reports from Adam Caplan.

  Routt cleared waivers after being cut by the Kansas City Chiefs. He was cut earlier this season from the Oakland Raiders.

 Lions rookie cornerback Bill Bentley, who had started three games, was lost for the season after undergoing shoulder surgery.
