No. 20 pick closing in
We're 15 picks into the draft and the Lions could be deciding between a few good men at pick No. 20.
Among those still on the board: USC middle linebacker Rey Maualuga, Mississippi left tackle Michael Oher, Tennessee defensive end Robert Ayers, Missouri receiver/return man Jeremy Maclin and Oklahoma State tight end Brandon Pettigrew.
Of those five, who do you most want to see in a Lions uniform?

I think a lot of fans will find the Stafford pick a little easier to swallow if the Lions can get Maualuga at 20... Denver going RB seems to have shaken things up a little bit.
I want Everette Brown! Sack machine.
Having said that, Oher and Pettigrew are intriguing possibilities. ESPN keeps talking Maclin... somebody better take him before Millen gets the pick.
gotta trade back or get the best OT at 20.
With high 1st round talent guys like Maualuga, and Maclin, and later round guys that other teams covet in Pettigrew and Mathews, The Lions should trade back 5 or six picks.
Maclin's got to be coming off the board at 19, right? That way the Browns can trade Edwards.
I'm wavering between Oher at tackle and Maualuga at middle linebacker. Maualuga seems to fit Schwartz's system. A LT is a necessity with a young QB, but I'm not sold on Oher as a pro. I wonder if the Lions are.
Any way we can draft all five???
way to call it dave - pettigrew it is....hopefully they trade back from 33 though.
And Dave gets his wish!
