Washington leaves; did Morris sign?

The NFL Network is reporting the Lions have signed running back Maurice Morris, but the Lions have not confirmed the report.

The Lions hosted at least two players for visits Friday, receiver Nate Washington and offensive guard Derrick Dockery, and neither of those came to terms.

Washington left town, his agent Brian Overstreet said, but remains interested in Detroit. No word yet on whether Dockery is staying the night in the Detroit area.

Washington will sign with someone else now. Shouldn't have let him leave town.

My guess is the Titans.

if carr makes it to detroit, i don't think he'll leave....doesn't strike me as a guy who wants to break the bank, just wants more opportunities to play. he'll def get that with the lions.

washington is at his mom's in toledo right now 'sleeping' on the deal the lions presented to him.

given the fact that he's still in the area, has no other visits lined up/confirmed, and that his agent said that he's still interested in the lions, i think he'll sign tomorrow or soon after.
