Furrey on IR

The Lions placed receiver Mike Furrey on injured reserve Monday with lingering symptoms from a concussion he suffered Nov. 9 against Jacksonville. To take Furrey's place, they signed receiver Keary Colbert, who was released by Seattle last month.

The Lions (0-12) will play the final four games of the season without two of the four pass catchers they opened the season with. In October, they traded Roy Williams to Dallas for three draft picks.

Furrey caught just 18 passes in nine games this year. Two years ago, he caught a career-high 98 passes.

He was injured on the opening kickoff of the Jacksonville game.
