One thing you can count on with the Detroit Lions is that they are never, ever boring. Follow the latest news including injuries, roster moves and more here daily from Oakland Press beat writer Paula Pasche. Plus you'll find regular commentary about the team.

Detroit Lions' DeAndre Levy on a wing and a prayer

On a wing and a prayer, indeed.

Apparently Lions coach Jim Caldwell hasn’t seen the video of his linebacker DeAndre Levy wing walking on a old red bomber.

He has seen the still photo of Levy riding on the top of the bi-plane.

“I think he was strapped in pretty well,’’ Caldwell said at Tuesday’s Lions Town Hall meeting.

The coach seemed pretty calm about the whole deal.

“He’s that kind of individual he’s afraid of nothing. He’s been known to take some exciting trips during the offseason,’’ Caldwell said. “As long as he comes back healthy. We’re going to pray for him.’’

Team president Tom Lewand was more succinct: “Our official position is don’t fall.’’
