Detroit Lions — Reggie Bush feels good; weekly captains named

ALLEN PARK — Reggie Bush practiced all three days this week which makes it likely the Detroit Lions running back will play on Sunday against Tampa Bay.

Caldwell would not say whether Bush will play after missing three straight and five of the last seven games.

“I know he feels really good and when he feels really good, I feel good,’’ Caldwell said prior to Friday’s practice.

— Captains for Sunday will be center Dominic Raiola, defense end Jason Jones and Tahir Whitehead on special teams.

— Larry Warford, who has missed three games with a knee injury, has also practiced this week and is expected to play on Sunday.
Caldwell used seven words to describe Warford: “Power, strength, toughness, intelligence, unbelievable work ethic.’’
Warford will match up with Tampa Bay defensive tackle Gerald McCoy.
Again, Caldwell would not say for sure that Warford will play.
“He’s one of those guys that has been able to work through his particular injury, we’ll see how he does at today’s practice,’’ Caldwell said.

— When talking about roster availability — it appears everyone will be ready to play except Nick Fairley — Caldwell came up with another gem. “The most important ability is availability, no question about it,’’ the coach said.

— Nick Fairley was the only player who did not participate in Friday's practice.
