Detroit Lions: Calvin Johnson practices for 2nd straight day

ALLEN PARK — Calvin Johnson returned to practice today (Friday) for the second straight day.

The Lions wide receiver worked out on his own, running and cutting, before joining the team stretch drills.

He then participated in the early portion of practice open to the media.

Johnson injured his right knee in the Sept. 29 game against Chicago.

He sat out Sunday’s loss at Green Bay. It was just the fifth game he has missed in his six-plus seasons with the Lions.

Also out on Friday were: Tony Scheffler (concussion), Theo Riddick (concussion) and Jason Fox (knee). Louis Delmas (knee) was also out as he usually is on Fridays.
