Calvin Johnson is one of the most unassuming, humble professional athletes you will ever meet. Plus, the Lions Pro Bowl wide receiver has one of the best all-time smiles.

It’s nice to see him get a little more recognition for himself and the Lions by landing the cover of ESPN The Magazine’s NFL preview issue. It hits the stands on Friday.

It’s a good-looking cover too.

And, to my knowledge, there’s no curse associated with the ESPN mag cover.
