Three reasons rookie WR Titus Young will become a fan favorite:

1. He’s SO excited to be coming to Detroit. Even though he’s from Los Angeles his mom grew up in Detroit and he still has family here. The day of the draft he could hardly contain himself. Months later at the player workouts the enthusiasm remained. He made his way from California to the players’ workouts to get a jump on learning the offense.

2. He’s a speedster who will add new dimension to the Lions’ passing game.

3. He can catch the ball. He has good hands for such a skinny guy and looked good catching passes from Matthew Stafford. Of course there was no defense on the field.
